We are looking to hire a Technician to take care of all vehicle preparations before shipment and delivery to customers:

Function

Based in our new PDI site of Antwerp you will be in charge of the following activities:

• Organization of the workshop activities depending on planning given;
• Responsible for the tools and equipment;
• Responsible of the maintenance of our forklifts for the warehouse;
• IN and OUT administration of the machinery and trucks and communication with the Logistic Department;
• Follow-up and perform technical inspections on the machinery and trucks in order to maintain the stock (PDI and Aertssen);
• Organize & perform technical installations on trucks & machines (PDI and Aertssen);
• Prepare trucks and machines with regards to shipment and instructions received from the Logistic Department and meet their daily deadlines;
• Diagnosis of technical issues;
• Ordering parts;
• Communication with external suppliers (Carglass, Remco, Afymat, etc..…)

Profile

• You hold a mechanical degree and have minimum 5 years’ experience on machinery and/or truck
• Able to work in team with another technician
• Able to use diagnostic tool and perform repairs
• Effective communication skills (spoken and written) and ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to detail
• Able to work autonomously and solve problems
